COMT 112: Ethnographic Methods for Media Research

Description: This is a practical course on ethnographic fieldwork.obtaining informed consent interviewing, negotiating, formulating a research topic, finding relevant literature, writing a research paper, and assisting others with their research. Students do participant observation in media organizations, typically in the non-profit sector. This course is offered once a year.
